It’s weigh day time. Gonna make it a short one though, just chugging along. It was a really nice week, the weather was warmer out. Blue skies and I didn’t need my big jacket. There were several birthdays this week and a LOT of food around. It was tough and I definitely cracked and sampled almost everything!
Well, that meant a not so impressive loss on the scale this week. I’m very glad for a loss of course, but less than a pound. It’s very frustrating to step up your workouts only to see a drop in losses due to the calories. It’s true what they say, eating is 80% of weightloss while working out is only the bonus 20% helper.
Like I said, I did step up my workouts. I’ve been tackling this crazy hill near me daily:

I also tried the grilled chicken meal at pollo loco with broccoli and the corn. I shared most of the chicken with the kids. It was good! Sometimes, life happens and you are offered fast food. Some places have healthy options like this. Of course, you still don’t know how they prepare it, what type of oils they use, etc…but I did my best. At least I didn’t get the giant tortilla bowl which is at least 700+ calories!!!
However, I do need to work on eating less on the weekends. I can’t stand seeing all of my hard work going out the window. I’m focusing on a new week and going to make it even better. Of course….this week is that time of the month though…. but who know? Maybe I’ll be surprised. Just gotta stay positive. Realistically positive. That’s the best way to keep moving forward to my goal weight range.
Going to go ahead and end it here. Sharing some photos from my walks this week. Started out cloudy but now it’s gorgeous out. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes!

And the graph is still going down…but… very….sloooowly 😀 Have a great weekend, happy motivating,
happy goal-getting!!
