So, this week I finally felt like I was fully on track again. I restarted again back in January only to get sick and lose some weight with lack of appetite. However, I ended up regaining back some weight when my appetite came back. I’ll post a picture of my chart. It just keeps going up and down like a yo yo dieter😞
Well, this week, I decided to finally buckle down and do this. My energy is finally coming back and I’ve been able to workout out again.

It hasn’t been easy. I am still barely able to jog slowly. I used to be able to run with energy to spare! I was only going to do about 45 minutes but my family was with me and inspired me to go a bit longer. You can see my daughter doing handstands lol. My kids and family inspire me to be better. I’m doing this for them as well as for myself! Gotta keep that motivation inside and not cave…as I usually do. I am also slowly switching up snacks I’m eating. I went back to just cutting up tomatoes with light string cheese:

It’s low calorie, and actually filling if you pair it with a big glass of water or tea. I prefer the tea because it has a nice flavor that keeps me drinking it. Now, to rip the band aid off and report my weigh in. I just need to get it over with and move forward. The past few months have been a constant yo yo of just telling myself: “well, I gained 2 lbs last week. This week, I’ll lose those 2 pounds plus maybe 1 more and be able to post it” Well…that doesn’t work obviously. It just makes me want to skip the next weigh in when the week doesn’t go well after all. So, without further ado, here’s the weigh in:

I’ve gained almost 4 lbs in 2 weeks because of the back and forth arguing with myself about restarting after being sick. If I had just stuck with it, I would have maintained or even continued losing. Here’s my weight chart as well. Just look at that roller coaster!

Up and down. I want to stop finally stop this and get to my goal weight! I was there several times and I just keep moving away from it. So, I’m going to end it here. I’m more positive and finally feel more in control this week. I got my weigh in over with and now I can focus on making this week 2 amazing!
Happy goal getting!
