Well, here we are at the first marker. I set the first check in date for April 11th. I managed a decent loss but I definitely could have done better. But, I’m not going to dwell on it that much as that tends to lead to beating myself up and giving up. Life happens, and as long as the overall downward trend is on my weight loss graph, I’m happy.

So, here is my progress since I did my restart back in February. I’m so relieved to finally see the line going downward instead of the same…or even upwards. I still have a long way to go, but the relief I feel is like a huge weight is off of my shoulders. I recently did another blog with the recent goals I hit so I’ll just keep this one pretty short. I’m now focused on the next phase which will end on July 10th, which is when we usually go on vacation. I don’t know if we will this year because of inflation, but I would like to feel fitter and just make things easier.

We recently went to the beach for a family outing. Just for fun. I really enjoyed myself and was so glad I didn’t have that extreme tired feeling. I was able to walk and it wasn’t that hard on me. Don’t get me wrong, walking in the sand is TOUGH though!
This summer, I’d like to have made even more progress so I can really enjoy the time with the kids and just run around, whatever we end up doing!
Anyway, I’ll keep chipping at my goal. I would like to lose 20lbs by then but that’s a pretty big number. I’ll be happy with 10-15 and just want to keep that downward trend going! Have a great week!
