Still continuing my slow and steady journey, another week going down! Progress is progress no matter how small! It all adds up. I’m super impatient but at the same time, things have been so busy! It’s already practically summer! I had wanted to weigh less than I do now but I haven’t been pushing super hard like I’ve done in the past. I’m going at a “go with the flow” kind of pace. If there is an event, potluck, party, etc; I don’t stress as much over it and handle it in the present. I hope things stick this time and I don’t end up gaining it all back again…as I’ve done many times in the past!
This week actually went surprisingly well. I ended up losing 2 lbs. A small number, but lately I’ve only been losing half a pound or 1 pound so I’ll take it!
Not sure how this next week will go. The routine is changing as the kids are off from school now and will be taking more of my time. I don’t mind, they do encourage me to get out and do more things. We’ve been into walking lately!

It was beautiful out when we went out the other day. It was stressful though. They are much quicker than me and have more energy! I can manage to keep up more now than in the past but still. They are explorers and like to go down into the plants and water!

I warned them about how when I was a kid I got one of the worst allergic reaction rashes in my life from doing similar. Hope it sticks. Still, they are good kids and listened for the most part. I am just so used to walking on my own and relaxing that it is different with them. Hopefully we will keep the walking up throughout the break!
