Just a quick blog to check in. I haven’t been blogging consistently, just been busy! I have been working towards my goals though! I’m happy to report, I am losing weight slow and steadily. I have had a week or 2 where I did stall. I think it was due to hormones but who can really say? The key is to focus on the overall downward trend over time and not get hung up on temporary stalls or even gains! I have been getting out and walking more now that spring is coming. It’s my favorite time of year!

The weather is amazing and makes it easier to push myself and get out there. The flowers are blooming and I am enjoying the outdoors. It is still tough sometimes though. There are times where I just want to go home and sit down. I just keep pushing onward and the results make it worth it!

Weighed in and was happy to see I went down 2 more pounds! Not huge numbers, but recommended for long term weight loss is around 2-3 lbs per week. I’ve been watching biggest loser and man, they drop 5-10 lbs per week. It makes me think my weightloss is insignificant, but then I remember that they are exercising 4+ hours a day!

Looking at my progress map, I realized I actually started re-losing at February 8th, so I’ve actually lost more than I thought! Now I can cross off a few of my goals from my goals list! 🎯GOAL MET 🎯

  • Get back to Overweight BMI range (around 158lbs)

  • July 11th progress check!
  • Get back to normal weight BMI
  • October 10th progress check!
  • Get to ultimate goal weight BMI range 125?-130?

This image is from one of my workouts. I’m trying to track my steps, calories, and heart rate to make sure I keep challenging myself and keep my weightloss going. When it gets too easy, I use my watch and up my goals a little bit. It seems to be working well!

Look at that view! Views like that make it all worth it….right? lol

I’ll report again soon! I want to post more consistently, especially this Friday which is April 11th. On my goal list, I have that marked for a check in. I hope I lose a bit more this week to add to my goal list for that!
