Checking in again. Things have been going surprisingly well despite a lot of stressful things going on. I have been consistently losing 1-2 lbs each week whereas in the beginning I could barely lose half a pound to a pound per week. I know it will probably fluctuate and stall eventually but I’ll take what I can get. It all adds up!

I’m down another pound this week and 0.8 the previous week. So, definitely slow and steady. I’m still happy with it. I’m actually really worried about August and September because they are the hottest months. We have a home gym in the garage with no AC at all and combined with heat and mosquitos, I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up my workouts. Last summer I ended up gaining weight and giving up during those months because it was just unbearable. I am trying to convince my family to just sign up for a 30 day gym membership or something during that time. Is it worth it to do that?
Anyway, I get to cross off another goal!

Vacation is coming too. Not sure how long because we need to cut costs this year. It might end up being a staycation. It might be better for my weight loss progress because vacation really triggers some bad food habits. I really want to figure out vacation and conquer it for future maintenance though!
